Internet Download Manager is one of the best tool for downloading any type of file from internet. But you may have been facing the pop up that ‘IDM has been registered with the Fake serial number ’. This pop up is really very irritating since it appears every time when you are about to download some file or when you start your system.
Here in this post I am going show you the easiest and working method to get rid of this pop up using a fake serial key.
1. Exit IDM from the taskbar before entering the serial.
2. Disconnect active connections to the internet.
3. Go to:
C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc and locate the file 'hosts'.
4. Now right click on the hosts file and select Open with option. Make sure to select Notepad to open the select hosts files.
